Mr. Hutt is Chairman and CEO of Dallas Capital Bank, and the bank holding company Park Cities Financial Group.  Mr. Hutt is a 30-year veteran banker and formerly an executive of Community Bancorp (CBC), where he led the acquisition of $3 billion Superior Bank.  Prior to joining CBC, he was with BBVA Compass, where he held nationwide responsibility for Compass Bank’s Corporate and Specialized Industry activities and served as President of Compass Bank, Texas. During his 24-year Bank of America career, Mr. Hutt held a variety of executive level positions including president of Bank of America, Dallas.  Mr. Hutt has a long track record of civic engagement, having served on the boards of directors at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the Dallas Citizens Council and Goodwill Industries.
Mr. Makel is a managing partner of Schiff Hardin, which he joined in 2014.  He was a founding partner of the Dallas office of Patton Boggs, LLP which he joined in 1997, which doubled in size under his leadership to over 120 attorneys.  Mr. Makel has deep roots in Dallas banking, and has founded three successful banking institutions, including Highland Bancshares, Inc., where he was Vice Chairman of the board of directors, Texas Capital Bank, where he was director, and Resource Bank, where he was a director and served on the Executive Committee.
Mr. Monroe is the retired CEO, of the Denkmann family of businesses, and currently serves on the Board of Directors.  Denkmann’s origins date back to the timber industry of the 1860’s, and now is in its seventh-generation of owners.  Mr. Monroe manages all of the core industries of the companies, which include natural resource development and management (oil & gas, coal, timber, sand & gravel), and commercial properties development and acquisitions, throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.
Mr. Powell served as FDIC Chairman from 2001-2005, and was named by President Bush as the Federal Coordinator of Gulf Coast Rebuilding, developing long-term rebuilding plans for the region in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma. Prior to serving as FDIC Chairman, Don was Chairman, President and CEO of The First National Bank of Amarillo. In December, 2008, Don was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal, the second-highest honor a U.S. citizen can receive. He has served on the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System and is currently a Board Member of the George Bush School of Government and Public Service. He has served as Director at Bank of America, and currently serves on the board of Stone Energy.
Mr. Raffaele is a longtime and well known Texas Banker.  Previously, Mr. Raffaele was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer of F&M Bank, having joined F&M in September, 2009.  Prior to joining F&M Bank, Mr. Raffaele was with Guaranty Bank, where he served in various capacities including Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer, Treasurer, and finally as Chief Financial Officer.
Bob Schack is founding Chairman of American Business Bank, In Los Angeles. He has been in the banking business since the late 60s at both Security Pacific Bank and 1st Business Bank. In 1998, he joined four other executives to form American Business Bank, a financial institution serving small and middle size companies in Southern California. Bob also acts as an advisor for the Endicott Group, a private equity firm specializing in investments in the financial services industry.
Mr. Lee Vardaman has been serving as the Director of Compass Bank since January 2015. He previously served as Chief Credit Risk Officer for the bank’s commercial and corporate and investment banking activities, overseeing credit risk while achieving loan growth. Mr. Vardaman joined Compass Bank in 2002. Previously, Mr. Vardaman served as Senior Risk Executive – Commercial Banking, with Bank of America and its predecessors – NCNB and NationsBank.  He is a longtime Dallas resident.

Doug Staley

Chief Risk and Credit Officer & Executive Vice President

Mr. Staley is a 33 year banker who has spent most of his career focusing on risk management, credit administration and special assets. He has served at senior levels of bank management for 23 years. Prior to joining Dallas Capital Bank, he served in a variety of executive roles at Cadence Bank, Capital One Bank and Hibernia National Bank. He has proven skills as a strong leader, with a history of building effective teams. Mr. Staley received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M Commerce.

Jason Matthews

Commercial Banking Executive

Mr. Matthews leads the Commercial Banking Group at Dallas Capital Bank. He has served as a Commercial Banking Executive in Dallas since 2002, providing senior debt financing for both owner-managed and private equity owned companies across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution and service. Most recently, Mr. Matthews served as Senior Vice President in F&M Bank’s Commercial Lending Group (and its acquirer, Prosperity Bank). Prior to joining F&M Bank in early 2011, he served as Vice President in Texas Capital Bank’s Corporate Lending Group. Mr. Matthews currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Forerunner Mentoring Program (a local non-profit youth mentoring organization), and is active in his local church and coaching his childrens’ youth sports teams.

Prior to joining Dallas Capital, Paul spent 14 years at Guaranty Bank in Dallas and its acquirer, BBVA Compass, where he served in a variety of executive roles, includes leadership of Commercial Real Estate Banking, Homebuilder Finance, and Special Assets. Prior to Guaranty, he served as a team leader for Wells Fargo and Continental Illinois Bank. A former Scoutmaster, he is active in Scouting at the District level and serves on the Board of the Rotary Club of Park Cities.

Michael Shtofman

Prior to joining Dallas Capital Bank, he was with U.S. Trust, the Private Wealth Management division of Bank of America. During his 17 year tenure, he provided comprehensive financial advice & solutions to high net worth families and family offices. Prior to launching his banking career, Mr. Shtofman was an entrepreneur in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His community involvement includes serving as a volunteer and/or Board Member of The Senior Source, Greenhill School, Dallas Furniture Bank, Meals on Wheels, and Junior Achievement.

DALLAS, TX  (November 14, 2015)  – The 43-year old Town North Bank will change its name and business approach to become Dallas Capital Bank, effective November 16, 2015. Park Cities Financial Group, comprised of prominent local leaders and investors, purchased CU Bank Shares, the parent company of Dallas’ Town North Bank, earlier this year.

Dallas Capital Bank is positioning itself to redefine what it means to do business in Dallas. More than a new name, Dallas Capital Bank will focus on delivering new technology and banking services to the Dallas businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
