Durrett to Lead DCB C&I Banking Team
Dallas, TX – October 18, 2021 – Doug Hutt, Chairman and CEO of Dallas Capital Bank, is pleased to announce the addition of Darren Durrett as Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking. In this role, Mr. Durrett will lead the Dallas Capital Bank commercial banking team in providing North Texas businesses, business owners, and entrepreneurs with highly customized banking solutions delivered with white-glove client service. Mr. Durrett will report directly to Dallas Capital Bank’s Chief Banking Officer, Jason Matthews.

Mr. Durrett joins Dallas Capital Bank from Truist Bank (formerly BB&T), where he most recently served as Dallas Market President. In his role there, he was responsible for the coordination and management of all commercial banking functions in the Dallas market. Prior to joining BB&T, Mr. Durrett served in various commercial banking roles at Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase & Co. He is active in the DFW community and currently serves as the Budget and Finance Chair for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Garland ISD Education Foundation.
