Dallas Capital Bank today announced the promotion of Travis Houstoun, Mark Riddell, Chris Malone and Kerri Bailey to key leadership positions within the organization.

Houstoun has been promoted from Executive Vice President to Chief Credit Officer.  In the new role, he will be responsible for all credit functions related to banking activities and for formulating the bank’s credit policies to ensure the overall quality of the bank’s lending portfolio. Houstoun, who joined Dallas Capital Bank as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Management Executive in May 2015, will continue to report directly to Doug Hutt, President and CEO.

Riddell has been elevated to Senior Vice President and Controller, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, Pat Hazelip. Riddell, who has been a Dallas Capital team member for more than 16 years, will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all accounting matters and related reporting. As Controller, he will also supervise the day to day operations of the Accounting Department including management reporting and analysis, and he serves as the Bank’s primary liaison for the annual financial audit and accounting-related internal audits.

Also reporting to Hazelip is Chris Malone, Dallas Capital’s newly appointed Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Malone will oversee Asset-Liability Management, Liquidity Management, Deposit Pricing, and the Investment Portfolio. Malone, who joined the organization in August 2015, previously served as the Director of Treasury in the Finance Department.

Bailey has been promoted from Senior Loan Closer to the position of Senior Vice President and Loan Operations Supervisor. In this role, Bailey, who joined Dallas Capital in June 2016, will be responsible for all loan document preparation and support to ensure timely and accurate funding of all loan transactions.

“Our mission is to bring a world-class banking experience to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, and these four individuals are a testament to that mission,” said Hutt. “We are grateful for their hard work, dedication and contributions to the bank’s overall success. We congratulate them on achieving these new milestones in their careers.”
