Dallas Capital Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Matthews, Tara Campbell, Shannon Watts, Kelly Dotson, Chris Scarmardo and Wade Scott, effective March 1, 2019.
Jason Matthews has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Commercial & Private Banking. In addition to continuing to lead the Commercial Banking Group as he’s done for the past 3 ½ years, Matthews will now assume additional leadership responsibility for the Private Banking Group, as well. He is responsible for recruiting and hiring bankers, further developing specific loan and deposit products, managing existing key client relationships, as well as for the overall loan and deposit growth of both the Commercial and Private Banking Groups.
Tara Campbell has been named Senior Vice President, Director of Operations. In her expanded role, Campbell will provide overall leadership and direction for several different operations related departments, including Client Services, Deposit Operations and Data Control. She will also be responsible for coordinating all company-wide operations projects across numerous departments throughout the bank, as well as for new product implementation and developing additional strategies for overall efficiency improvement and growth.
Shannon Watts has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Compliance. In her new role, Watts will be responsible for overall leadership and supervision of the Compliance team, which includes Fair Lending, CRA, BSA-AML Compliance program, Quality Control, Security and training for all Dallas Capital Bank employees.
Kelly Dotson has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Banking. As a senior member of the Commercial Real Estate Banking Group, she will continue to be responsible for developing new commercial real estate loan and deposit opportunities, while also managing these relationships on a go-forward basis.
Chris Scarmardo and Wade Scott have both been promoted to Vice President, Portfolio Management. Scarmardo and Scott will continue to provide significant value in the overall underwriting process by analyzing historical financial performance, preparing detailed cash flow analysis, assessing loan repayment ability and preparing the overall credit approval package for presentation. They will also assist in the ongoing management of existing credits.
